I never thought it would happen to me, but it did…
My belly got big.
I remember when I was in my twenties and whenever I saw an older guy with a pot belly I thought…
“That will never be me”
Then there I was on my 4oth birthday, excited to celebrate with family and friends
When the unthinkable happened
My 4 year old came into the bathroom after my shower and asked me why I had boobies like mommy.
As cute, funny and honest as it sounded, I couldn’t stop thinking about it for the rest of the day.
My attention also kept focusing on the nice beer gut that had formed as well.

I knew better.
My degree was in Kinesiology so I understood the importance of eating right and exercising, but here I was at 40 out of shape and disappointed in myself.
I could probably go on and give you all sorts of excuses why I let myself get fat and out of shape, but in the end they are just excuses.
The gaining of weight really started with the birth of our first child.
The first year with a new baby is new, fun, and can be very frustrating.
Waking up multiple times a night and supplementing what use to be exercise time with taking care of baby time.

Meal planning pretty much goes out the window or at least you plan the meals.
But the baby becomes fussy and ordering pizza seems easier because we don’t have time to prepare dinner.
This goes on for months.
Then when you think you have your life under control and want to get yourself back on a good schedule.
Baby #2 comes and chaos continues, then you turn 40 and you are asking yourself.
“What Happened To My Body”
If you can identify with this a little bit then bear with me as I want to show you what I did to reverse my body and my belly.
My 4oth was almost a year ago and I can’t believe the difference I am feeling and seeing now.
I had about 30-40 lbs to lose.
I wasn’t terribly overweight it was just all my weight was in the unhealthy belly fat.
I wanted to get thin and have a nice looking body. I want my kids to grow up knowing that their dad kept himself in good shape.
They need to know that you can be a GREAT dad and be Fit at the same time.
It is possible, but it takes time and effort
What is interesting is that the research shows that my kids are most likely going to mimic ME!
The fatter I become the greater the chance they will become fat.
It is called Epigenetics
The action our children take is a reflection of how we as parents live our lives.
If my kids see a healthy fit dad, then there is a greater tendency for them to be fit and healthy.
Working in the health care field I know how important it is to keep yourself healthy for as long as you can, to minimize the chance of getting sick and be present 100% for your kids.
So I put all my thoughts down on paper of what I did this past year in the form of a blueprint, and I want to share that with you.
Dad’s need to be healthy and fit.
Kids need good role models and I believe that begins with a Healthy Fit Dad.
If you are still with me so far and I have sparked some interest in improving your body and health then submit your email below.
In return I will show you my step-by-step blueprint of what I did to shed those 30 pounds and regain the control in my life.
I feel empowered now and confident that I will reach my goals as I have developed tools and habits that make this a success.
Most weight loss programs TELL you how to lose weight. I SHOW you how to lose weight

To Your Health,
Alan
P.S. The two important concepts I am going to show you that made the biggest difference for me was how I exercise and what I ate.
By signing up for my blueprint I will give you a little more of the specifics of what I did but one of the more important factors in my weight loss was breakfast.
I got rid of the grains for breakfast and started drinking green smoothies.
Below is a smoothie that I eat in the morning for breakfast.
In a blender add
- Handful of spinach
- 1 cup of organic apple juice
- 1 lemon without peel and white skin
- Small piece of ginger
- 1 banana
- 2 tlbs flaxseed
- 1 tlbs hempseed
- 1 tlbs raw coco powder
Blend it up and drink it. Great source of all sorts of stuff and a great way to decrease calorie intake as you need to eat less then you burn to lose weight.
Let me know how this works for you
